Yoga has grown rapidly in the last few years.
Many who start taking Yoga classes begin to ask themselves those 3 same questions:
“Can I become a Yoga Teacher?”
“How do I become a Yoga Teacher?”
“And is teaching Yoga even the right career path for me?”
I can relate.
Hi! My name is Hani Hallal, and I am the CMO (Director of Marketing) here at Yoga Sangha in Montreal, Quebec!
Just like many of you reading this, I am also new to the Yoga world.
When I first started working at Yoga Sangha, I quickly learned that the Yoga world is massive.
There are so many different types of Yoga, modalities of Yoga, and a wide variety of Yoga techniques.
It is an exciting world with so much to learn and so much to offer!
And just like you, I started asking myself those very same 3 questions.
And if you're like me, I went to the good old Google search bar and…
drumroll…
Nothing.
Yep…not much.
I was quite surprised to find very little valuable information about becoming a Yoga Teacher in Montréal.
So, I decided to get answers right at the source.
Lucky me, I work at a gorgeous, well-known, 14,000-square-foot Yoga Institution founded by a Yogacharya (Yoga Master), Sylvie Tremblay, with an esteemed faculty of highly respected and seasoned yoga instructors held to the highest standards of excellence in both teaching and the philosophy of yoga.
I decided to interview not only people who are taking Yoga classes for personal wellness, but also those who have taken Yoga Teacher Training to become Yoga Teachers.
Having unbiased feedback is really important to me.
To capture that fair perspective, I made sure to interview both people who took Yoga classes for personal wellness and those who took Yoga Teacher Training to become a Yoga Teacher at a variety of Yoga institutions (not just Yoga Sangha).
This guide will help you decide whether enrolling in Yoga Teacher Training is the right path for you!
