Considering becoming a yoga teacher in Montreal? Read this first

Yoga has grown rapidly in recent years.

Many people who start taking yoga classes ask themselves these same 3 questions:

"Can I become a yoga teacher?"

"How do I become a yoga teacher?"

"And is teaching yoga really the right career path for me?"

I can relate to that.

Hello! My name is Hani Hallal, and I am the Marketing Director at Yoga Sangha in Montreal, Quebec!

Like many of you reading this, I too am new to the world of yoga.

When I started working at Yoga Sangha, I quickly realized that the world of yoga is vast.

There are so many different types of yoga, modalities, and techniques.

It's an exciting universe with so much to learn and offer!

And like you, I asked myself the exact same 3 questions.

And if you're like me, I went to the good old Google search bar and...

drum roll...

Nothing.

Yes... not much.

I was quite surprised to find that there was very little truly useful information on how to become a yoga teacher in Montreal.

So I decided to go straight to the source for answers.

I am fortunate to work in a magnificent, well-known yoga institution of 14,000 square feet, founded by a Yogacharya (yoga master), Sylvie Tremblay, which gathers a faculty composed of highly respected and experienced yoga teachers, each upholding the highest standards of excellence in both teaching and yoga philosophy.

I decided to interview not only people who take yoga classes for their personal well-being, but also those who have completed yoga teacher training to become yoga teachers.

Having impartial feedback is very important to me.

To capture this balanced perspective, I made sure to interview both individuals who took yoga classes for personal well-being and those who completed yoga teacher training at different institutions (not just Yoga Sangha).

By the end of this guide, you will have all the information you need to decide if becoming a yoga teacher in Montreal is the right path for you!
