Accompany, support and prepare for a happy birth
with Dominique Gagné, Renaud Duguay-Lefebvre DO, Bc. Sc. & Annick Bourbonnais
Pregnant women experience a number of major transformations, and the support they receive during this period is crucial to how they experience their pregnancy, childbirth, and the arrival of their baby. The importance of intrauterine life and birth on a person's emotional development is often underestimated. The prenatal yoga teacher, in addition to offering a special moment for women to slow down, reduce stress, release tension, loosen the pelvis, and improve posture, can play a significant role in this experience. To restore the initiatory character of birth, in today's childbirth contexts, which are sometimes very managed, women need to be informed, supported, and inspired to regain their power and experience this passage with dignity and in all their power.
The postpartum period will finally be an opportunity to build a privileged bond of exchange and communication between the mother and the child; a place to promote the latter's motor development and their feeling of security in the world.
International certification recognized and accredited by the International Yoga Federation (IYF) and the French-speaking Yoga Federation (FFY).
All the knowledge and tools to meet the specific needs of maternity.

This training, led by an exceptionally inspiring couple, provides knowledge, understanding, and technical skills to support pregnant women from pregnancy through birth, all the way to delivery. This ensures that all these stages are experienced in a conscious, natural, active, and serene manner.
The program also offers effective and safe tools to help the mother recover more quickly, physically, hormonally, and emotionally, following childbirth. You will also gain the know-how to create a wonderful space for sharing between mother and baby, thanks, among other things, to massage and manipulations adapted to the infant.

Dominique Gagné
IYF, FFY
Dedicated entirely to teaching yoga since 2010, Dominique was first certified in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga by Sylvie Tremblay. This process initiated a profound transformation in her and confirmed the path she would choose to dedicate herself to.
In 2010, she completed a specialized training (200 hours) in prenatal and postnatal yoga with Denyse Laurendeau from the Chrysalide center in Quebec. Coming from the lineage of TKV Désikachar of Chennai and based on a Viniyoga approach, this constitutes a milestone in her journey which revealed her passion for pregnant women and motherhood. She will follow many specialized courses in perinatal care for which she will be trained: Rhythms and adaptations of the newborn with Ingrid Bayot, Well-being and pregnancy (CEMA), Fetal life, birth and health with Michel Odent, A natural birth with Marie-Andrée Beaumier homeopath and Carolyne Potvin osteopath, Hormonal therapeutic yoga with Dinah Rodrigues (Satyam), Massage for pregnant women and during labor with Bianca Thuot, Herbal care for pregnant women (Herbothèque), and others.
A certified birth companion from the CEMA (French National Center for Childbirth and Equality) in 2012, Dominique, herself a mother who gave birth naturally with the support of a midwife, has now supported many women and couples involved in the childbirth process, as well as during childbirth. Her intuition and sensitivity make her an incomparable resource.
She is involved as a breastfeeding sponsor within the MAM... for anyone who wants to benefit from her many tips and enlightened wisdom!

Very invested in his professional training, he constantly attends various courses in osteopathy, among others those related to pregnant women and perinatality under the inspiration of Mrs. Roselyne Lalauze-Pol, DO
He has completed numerous training courses since 2012 related to maternity: Gynecology-obstetrics, osteopathic pediatrics, direct joint techniques with impulse - spine and pelvis, Importance of the position of the fetus, birth and postpartum management, osteopathic techniques in perinatal care with Gilles Boudéhen DO, etc.
His experiences gained during prenatal classes for couples, co-led with Dominique, have allowed him to develop a vision focused on the physiology of childbirth and the benefits it provides to the child's development. A remarkable and inspiring father, he himself embodies, let's say, an exceptional source of inspiration for those around him.
