The Splendor of the Self
with Sylvie Tremblay
The true nature of the human being is entirely accessible to him. When he lends himself with simplicity and stripping himself to the observation of the world of beauty that inhabits him, no happiness is too great for him. A spontaneous and henceforth eternal communion, born of contemplation, presides from then on over his understanding of realities that are both down-to-earth and transcendental.
Only self-surrender allows this. There is no permanent identification with the past or with the individuality dependent on the mind that guides towards That.
We recognize the master by the love and respect he has for himself, by the freedom he shows before the immensity of possibilities: will you be able to make yourself the ultimate object of attention from which your own gaze will no longer be able to detach itself?
"He who stands beyond doubt and duality, who works for the good of all beings and whose thoughts turn inward, he realizes the Absolute and attains liberation."
