Module II: Professional applications enriched in consultation, interventions related to classic dysfunctions and pathologies & informed Yoga Trauma.
This training provides the opportunity for in-depth case studies, analysis through synthesis and understanding of all body types and health challenges in relation to the specific practice of Yogatherapy. Through elaborate case studies, teaching, discussions, practices and self-analysis, this course will allow the practitioner to develop diversified intervention protocols that complement other therapeutic approaches used in global health. Finally, the training will provide the therapist with the concrete means and tools to better understand frequently encountered pathologies and dysfunctions, as well as the needs and specificities of a clientele whose issues are related to post-traumatic stress in order to ensure, in this regard, a sensitive and informed intervention.
The various specialists involved, from the medical field and with solid experience in clinical intervention, will discuss how to put into practice the helping relationship and the techniques likely to be suitable for sensitive groups exposed to trauma issues (victims of physical or psychological abuse, police officers, professions at high risk of chronic stress, etc.)
A synthesis of the physical and psychological means of intervention addressed in yoga therapy will finally invite the yoga therapist to a global and inclusive approach to health. The latter invites the yoga therapist to maintain a 360 view of health, where the relationship with oneself as well as with the other engages mindfulness, self-compassion and non-violent communication likely to create a rich and revealing mutual relationship within the support.
Therapeutic yoga offers the means to cultivate optimal health, as well as to address the needs of the body and mind in the face of a necessary return to balance.
